National

Association of Inter-Varsity Clubs

IVC was started in 1947 by a group of Cambridge undergraduates who wanted to continue their social activities during vacations and after leaving university.

There are now about 45 IVC clubs in the UK, grouped into an association. Membership of any club entitles you to attend the events of another area as a visitor. The total number of members nationwide is nearly 5000.

West Surrey IVC was formed in 1975 by a few London IVC members who lived locally. It has grown in recent year to over 250 members.
